Although Booth's book was not written about the current moment we are living through, it is extremely prescient.

It chronicles someone who spends their time at home alone. Coping mechanisms (to being alone), ways to deal with anxieties, and ways to care for ourselves are all themes.

Although the book is called How to Be Alive, it could have easily been called How to Be Alone.
