After the first snowfall of the season, guests hurried in from the cold to the warmth of La Petite Librairie at 176 Rue Bernard Ouest for the launch of Matthew Forsythe’s Pokko and the Drum. Other titles also available such as The Gold Leaf and Matthew Forsythe illustrated wrapping paper! As well as Matthew’s D+Q Graphic Novels, Ojingogo and Jinchalo. Fizzy drinks, snacks and much celebration was in store. People came from near and far to get a signed copy and doodle from Matthew, who was more than happy to oblige. Pokko and the Drum is a charming tale about two regretful frog parents who gift their energetic frog daughter a drum, thus snowballing into beautiful, magical musical chaos! Congratulations Matthew on an amazing book and event!
